According to a survey on the status of truck drivers in India, over 80 percent of the truck drivers in the city of Mumbai rated the availability of ambulance or emergency vehicles as bad in 2020. The availability of emergency vehicles was rated as good by over 30 percent of truck drivers in Kolkata. A relatively higher share of drivers from western and southern cities of the country rated the availability of ambulances as bad.
