According to a survey on the status of truck drivers in India, trucks with non-air conditioned cabins were driven by 92 percent of the respondents. One-fourth of the truck drivers in the national capital region of Delhi were using trucks with AC cabins. Truck drivers stated that they do not prefer AC in their trucks as it directly affects the fuel mileage and in turn on their earnings.
