According to a survey conducted on the status of truck drivers in India, an average round trip distance covering over 2.8 thousand kilometers was reported by the respondents in the capital city of Delhi. The drivers from the western and southern parts of the south Asian country seemed to relatively take short distance trips compared to other regions of the country.
