As of June 2021, there were 346 certified general aviation (GA) airports in mainland China, an increase of 47 from 299 GA airports as of August 2020. By province or municipality, Heilongjiang province which locates in the far northeast of China, ranking first with the highest number of 88 GA airports. Guangdong province, which is situated in southern China, ranked second with 29 GA airports.
