Impact of the coronavirus outbreak on media consumption in Norway 2020, by type
Online newspapers increased the most in media consumption as a result of the coronavirus outbreak in Norway in March 2020, with 60 percent of the respondents saying they now spend more time reading online newspapers. TV news as well as social media, end TV entertainment consumption also increased significantly, with 57 percent, 51 percent, and 49 percent of people, respectively. Printed newspapers was the media with the highest share of respondents who reduced their consumption, at 44 percent.
