In 2019, 57 percent of French people ate fruits between 3 and 7 times a week, and 61 percent had vegetables at the same frequency.
Regarding the selection process, 68 percent of French families view seasonability as one of the most important criteria when purchasing fruits and vegetables, followed by origin and freshness.

The survey was carried out over two periods, from June 4 to 10, 2018 and from July 2 to 8, 2018 in 138 stores among 54 "consumption watchers" in 33 departments.
The surveys cover the prices of 8 fruits and 8 vegetables, from conventional and organic farming,
