As of the end of 2023, the telecom industry in China had around 1.73 billion mobile subscribers. Despite the trend towards more mobile internet applications, fixed-line broadband subscriptions increased by over 46 million users. As the country develops its 5G infrastructure, more people have different avenues to access to fast broadband internet.
