The self-isolation index by Yandex used the following methodology:
0-2.4 points: there is a very high number of people on the streets;
2.5-2.9 points: there is a high number of people on the streets;
3-3.5 points: there are people on the streets;
3.6-3.9 points: most people are home;
4-5 points: there is almost no one on the streets.
The source specified that it is an integrated indicator calculated based on usage data of different services and apps of Yandex. It can be used for informational purposes for an approximate situation assessment, but not for exact calculations.
