All-star games are exhibition matches that take place in a variety of sports to showcase some of the leagues' top players. The MLB All-Star Game takes place every July to mark the symbolic halfway point of the Major League Baseball season. During a January 2020 survey in the United States, 35 percent of all respondents stated that they enjoyed watching the MLB All-Star Game.
