All-star games are exhibition matches that take place in a variety of sports to showcase some of the leagues' top players. The line-ups are often selected by a panel of experts, fellow players, fans, and media. During a January 2020 survey in the United States, 41 percent of respondents aged 18 to 29 found all-star sports games very enjoyable.
