Despite the general increase in FMCG sales growth in the view of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, a fall in retail sales was recorded in March 2020 for some product categories in the Russian capital when compared to the equivalent period of the previous year. The drinking yogurt sales value in Moscow dropped by roughly eight percent during the second week of March 2020, which was the most pronounced sales drop among the listed products.
