According to the results of a global survey of mobile users conducted in early 2019, 25 percent of women globally read consent notices online, while only 20 percent of men read them. Overall, 78 percent of consumers surveyed either skimmed or completely disregarded digital consent notices, while 22 percent read consent notices in full.
