A survey from April 2020, focusing on the summer holiday planning during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in Italy, revealed that 34 percent of Italian respondents will not take holiday trips in summer. On the other hand, 31 percent of interviewees believed they will take trips lasting one or two weeks, if it will be possible. Similarly, 30 percent of respondents will take short or weekend trips, if it will be allowed to travel.
