Television in Poland saw an increase in viewership due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in 2020. People aged over 40 spent the most daily time watching tv in the third week of March - over 50 minutes longer than the monthly average. Children, for whom the school has been suspended, also spent nearly half an hour longer watching TV per day. The smallest growth was noted for Generation Z - an increase of five minutes.
