According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight as of October 2022, approximately 40 percent of respondents from all age groups except the 45 to 54 year old respondents stated to prefer cash over e-payments across India. The respondents aged between 45 to 54 years old had concerns about safety while using e-payment services more than all other respondents.
