As of March 2020, six out of ten people surveyed in Brazil whose monthly income amounted to no more than five times the country's minimum wage said that they could not work from home during the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, which causes COVID-19. However, three out of four respondents whose monthly income amounted to over ten times Brazil's minimum wage stated that they could telecommute.
