According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight, a large majority of Indian male and female respondents had used e-payment methods due to its convenience as of October 2022. Above 60 percent of respondents of both the genders stated that the e-payment methods were easy to use. Share of female respondents who preferred to use e-payment services instead of carrying cash around were more than the male respondents.
