Nearly three out of four people in Brazil surveyed in March 2020 approved of a temporary, yet complete lockdown in the country to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, which causes COVID-19. Moreover, 24 percent of respondents stated that they were against that measure, while two percent were indifferent to it.
