Impacts of the coronavirus outbreak on employer companies in Finland 2020, by sector
According to a survey from March 12 to 16, 2020, roughly 90 percent of the Finnish companies considered the impact of the coronavirus outbreak at least somewhat negative in their business. Around 44 percent of the service industry companies expected considerable or rather significant negative impacts in their operations and financial position. At the same time, almost 25 percent of the construction companies did not believe that the impacts of the coronavirus would affect their business negatively, while other industry sectors were more concerned about the future disadvantages.
