According to a survey carried out in April 2020, 77 percent of respondents in Brazil reported buying or using more alcohol-based hand sanitizer in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. Disinfectants and disposable face masks were also the most bought or used hygiene products, with more than half of respondents using them more frequently.
