APAC: reasons consumers choose EVs by country 2023

In a survey conducted in 2023, the leading reason for consumers to choose an electric vehicle as their next vehicle was concern for the environment for 68 percent of respondents in India. Comparatively, lower fuel costs were the leading reason to choose electric vehicles for consumers in Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia.
