From 2016 to 2018, the rates of online purchase of reading materials in Cyprus remained stable at 4 per cent, with a 2 per cent increase from 2018 to 2019. Cyprus has the second lowest rate of online purchase of books, magazines and e-learning materials in the European Union (EU), after Bulgaria.
