Living as a committed single Germany 2023

In 2023, around 5.18 million people in Germany were living committed to being single. This number had increased compared to the previous year at 4.93 million. 2023 in fact marked a high point on the number of people living their life as a committed single.
The figures are based on a survey conducted by the IfD Allensbach in Germany and their report AWA 2022. The Allensbach Market and Advertising Media Analysis (Allensbacher Markt- und Werbeträgeranalyse or AWA in German) determines attitudes, consumer habits and media usage of the population in Germany on a broad statistical basis.
