According to a survey in March 2020, respondents in Germany were the least likely to think that businesses have a responsibility to ensure their employees are protected from the COVID-19 virus in the workplace, and that the virus does not spread into the community, with 65 percent of German respondents affirming this responsibility. The country surveyed with the highest expectation of corporate responsibility was South Korea, where 87 percent of respondents believed businesses to have this responsibility.
