Monthly international air passenger traffic in Brazil 2019-2021
Between April and December 2020, the international air passenger traffic from and to Brazil drop drastically due to the COVID-19 pandemic. When compared to the same period of the previous year, the South American country recorded at least 1.5 million passenger less each month. In May 2021, approximately 194.7 thousand international air passengers passed through Brazilian airports, which represented nearly a fourfold increase in comparison to the previous year.
