According to data from McKinsey, in 2025, it is forecast that data centers will make up the largest revenue of artificial intelligence (AI) chips, generating 15 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 150 percent from 2017. AI chip revenues in edge computing, however, will undergo much more rapid growth during the same time span, reaching around six billion U.S. dollars by 2025.
