Decrease in hotel reservations for Easter holidays due to COVID-19 Spain 2020
Due to the crisis of the coronavirus COVID-19, in March 2020 there was a large drop in hotel reservations in Spain for the Easter holidays that year. In the Balearic Islands, the most affected region, the drop in the first 17 days of March with respect to the entire month of February 2020 exceeded 70%. Across the country, the decrease in hotel reservations compared to the previous month was practically 60%.
