Opinion of performance of various leaders during COVID-19 crisis in Australia 2020
In March, 2020, a survey of Australians on the performance of state and federal government leaders during the novel coronavirus crisis showed that 11 percent of respondents felt that Prime Minister Scott Morrison's performance during the crisis had been excellent. Overall, Morrison outperformed opposition leader Anthony Albanese, with 38 percent of respondents indicating that he had done an excellent or good job compared to Albanese at 24 percent. At state level, NSW premier Gladys Berejiklian was also seen to have performed better than her Labor counterpart.
