The major telecommunications providers in Poland noted a significant increase in traffic due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) in 2020. This is due to the large number of young people staying at home from school and adults working at a distance. Both T-Mobile and Orange recorded a 50 percent increase in demand for voice services, while Play recorded the most significant increase in data consumption - 40 percent.
