In a survey conducted in 2020, regarding the reaction of the government to the outbreak of the coronavirus, 81 percent of the respondents in Vietnam stated that the government had reacted appropriately to the outbreak of COVID-19. Alternatively, four percent of respondents in Hong Kong stated that the government had overreacted to the outbreak of the coronavirus in 2020.
