In September 2024, retail prices in German wholesale trade for coffee, tea, cocoa and spices rose by around 24.2 percent compared to the same month in the previous year. Compared to the previous month in the same year, prices increased by around 3.9 percent.
The wholesale selling price index measures the price trend for goods sold domestically by wholesalers on a representative basis, to the extent that these sales are attributable to the wholesale function, such as transactions with resellers, processors or other bulk buyers.
