According to a survey carried out by IPSOS in 2020, the majority of citizens in the shown countries believe the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) is due to the unpredictability of the virus rather than the failures of governments. In Germany, 80 percent of respondents believe the virus has spread there because it is impossible to forecast how the virus is spreading compared to 20 percent who believe it has spread because of the lack of correct countermeasures.
