Main reasons not to purchase ecological products in Belgium in 2019
As of 2019, the majority of consumers surveyed in Belgium, who rarely or never purchased ecological products, did so for financial reasons. Close to 40 percent of consumers surveyed in 2019 indicated that they considered ecological products to be too expensive. Meanwhile, close to a quarter of survey respondents were not confident that these products were genuinely ecological.
