Opinions on environmental impact of local products in Belgium 2019
As of 2019, the majority of consumers surveyed in Belgium indicated that they agreed that purchasing locally produced products was better for the environment. 70 percent of all consumers asked agreed with the statement: "Purchasing local products is good for the environment". Meanwhile, the share of respondents who disagreed with this was below five percent.
