As of Febraury 2020, the number of interactions concerning the five leading Over-the-top video platforms in Italy was analyzed. According to the source, the highest number of likes and comments on social media involved Netflix Italia. In particular, Instagram registered 5.8 million interactions, followed by far by Facebook with 238.1 thousands. The second most popular video platform was found to be Rai Play, which recorded about one million interactions on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
