Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings' YoY growth rate of monthly store sales 2020
Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings in Japan announced that the store sales of the Isetan Mitsukoshi Ltd. in June 2020 declined by approximately 20.5 percent compared to the same period in 2019. Out of their domestic regional companies, Matsuyama Mitsukoshi Ltd. in Ehime Prefecture had the highest loss of around 33.4 percent compared to the previous year. The company listed the decline of the foreign visitors to Japan and the reduced domestic consumption due to the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) as the reasons for the decrease in sales.
