As of February 25, 2021, around 47 percent of coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in South Korea were related to cluster infections. Daegu used to lead the list with a mass infection due to the religious group Shincheonji, but at the moment the city of Gwangju has the highest rate with 80.3 percent from continuing small cluster infections.
