In 2019, 20 percent of British adults answered a survey that it is very likely that cannabis use is harmful to the people who take the drug, with a further 31 percent respondent that it is fairly likely to cause damage. On the other hand, six percent of respondents believe it is not at all likely to cause damage.
Despite a higher proportion of Brits believing cannabis is a harmful drug, there is overwhelming public support for the legalization of medical cannabis in Great Britain.
