Coronavirus infections in Danish regions
The Capital Region of Denmark, where Copenhagen is located, had the highest number of coronavirus cases of all the regions in the country. The Capital Region of Denmark is the largest in terms of population, with around 1.8 million inhabitants. As of August 10, the number of confirmed infected in the Capital Region reached over one million. Region Central Denmark had the second highest number of registered cases, reaching a total of 733 thousand.
