Assistance with daily activities among U.S. veterans and active service members 2020

Around 55 percent of U.S. veterans and active service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound while serving in the military on or after September 11, 2001 who responded to the annual Wounded Warrior Project Survey in 2020 required assistance or were completely dependent on assistance from another person for one or more daily activities. The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is a U.S. charity and veteran organization for veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound while serving in the military on or after September 11, 2001.
