Number of Japanese participants at Winter Olympics 1984-2022
The number of Japanese athletes participating at the Beijing Winter Olympics in February 2022 amounted to 122. Japan sent roughly the same amount of athletes to the PyeonChang Winter Games edition four years earlier. Female athletes comprise the majority of Japan's team in 2022.
