U.S. smartphone activities while driving 2015
This graph illustrates the results of a 2015 survey among U.S. respondents who use their smartphone while driving in 2015, with a breakdown by activity. Some 11 percent admitted to checking Snapchat while driving. As a possible attempt to stop people from texting while driving, U.S. police could implement the use of a Textalyzer: a device that taps into the phones of those involved in a crash and checks for recent activity.
