Main information sources for Chinese in coronavirus outbreak 2020
According to a survey about the Chinese public's awareness and reaction to the coronavirus (COVID-19) in February 2020, over 90 percent of the respondents residing in China usually received the epidemic information from official media, such as CCTV, People's Daily, and much more. Meanwhile, nearly half of the respondents trusted information from the Chinese professional media and digital governmental platforms. Only six percent respondents relied on their relatives or friends to get the latest information.
