Turkey was the largest bus and coach producer in the Middle Eastern and African region, with more than 15.5 thousand units produced in 2023. In comparison, South Africa manufactured approximately 780 buses and coaches that year. All three countries in the region saw an increase in bus and coach production over the previous year.
