Two out of five CMOs in Belgium indicated in a 2018 survey that environmental factors play an important part in their company's communication strategy. The source adds, however, that the majority of the survey respondents felt that climate commitment or offering a climate friendly products was not a key reason for Belgian consumers to buy their products. Rather, it seemed to them that being aware of the impact of global warming was being expected by the consumer.
