In fiscal year 2023, the U.S. B-visa refusal rate for Chinese citizens dropped to around 26.6 percent from 79 percent in 2021 and 30 percent in 2022.
In the end of 2014, the U.S. government extended the business and tourism visa validity to the Chinese citizens to ten years. As a result, the volume of B-visa applications from the Chinese citizens in the United States peaked in 2015.
