Share of households paying for visits to doctors and specialists in Poland 2020
Average spending on privately financed medical advice and specialist treatments in Polish households amounted to over 283 zloty per month, while total spending on a national scale reached 4.11 billion zloty per month.
Only 28.8 percent of households in Poland did not benefit from any form of paid health advice or medical assistance in 2020. However, 51.2 percent of families benefited from the paid support of a specialist doctor, such as private cardiology, gynecology, diabetology, etc.
