Share of Australians who think specific environmental concerns are very serious 2020
Bushfires and droughts were the top environmental concerns for Australians in January 2020, with 82 percent of survey respondents indicating that these environmental concerns were 'very serious'. Australians were least likely to nominate tropical cyclones as a very serious environmental issue, with soil salinity and erosion being the only other concern to be nominated by less than 50 percent of the respondents.
