Middle managers' opinion on workstyle reform effects in Japan 2020
According to a survey from January 2020 regarding the ongoing workstyle reforms in Japanese companies, a majority of more than 68 percent of Japanese middle managers stated to notice a positive development due to the changes. Japan's workstyle reform legislation, which was passed in June 2018, entered its first phase in April 2019. Among other things, it aims to reduce the number of overtime hours.
