In 2019, a SARS-like coronavirus outbreak has been spreading in China, driving the demand of face masks. According to a survey released in February 2020, about 44 percent of the Chinese respondents who had received medical masks for return to work stated that the medical masks they had could only last for up to five days. Approximately 38 percent of respondents had not received any masks.
